Inaugural Veteran & First Responder Wellness Summit_
On June 3, 2025, NAVFRW — in partnership with the Arlington County Police Department — hosted our first-ever Veteran and First Responder Wellness Summit in Washington, D.C. This landmark gathering brought together senior leaders from healthcare, law enforcement, and federal agencies to take action on one critical mission: strengthening the systems that support those who serve.
From suicide prevention and trauma-informed care to cross-agency collaboration and closing service gaps, the summit sparked candid conversations and practical solutions. As NAVFRW Chairman and U.S. Navy veteran Eric Golnick noted, “The Summit was a catalyst for collaboration. The conversations in this room will save lives.”
